WGPA aims to build a clear food point of difference for West Gippsland by supporting regenerative farming practices, responsible land management, and food systems that produce nutritious, ethically grown food. In partnership with Cardinia Shire Council, WGPA engaged Tourism Recreation Conservation Consultants (TRC Tourism) to develop a three-year West Gippsland Food & Tourism Strategy. Since completing the strategy period, WGPA has focused on delivering practical outcomes aligned with its recommendations. This includes working with Destination Gippsland, supporting regional promotion through the Eat & Drink guide, maintaining the West Gippsland Food Touring Map, and contributing to targeted marketing
